Note: Prices here typically refers to total cost to build - Except for the mansions, which are cost to purchase the land. Buildings before 1900 are estimated based on how much would it cost to build in today's money Buildings built before 1988 (30 years ago) are inflation adjusted. Size comparison of the entire universe 2017 in 3D. From the fabric of space-time itself, we journey outwards to subatomic elementary particles, to atoms, molecules, viruses, bacteria, cells, animals, planes, ships, buildings, mountains, countries, moons, planets, stars, solar systems, black holes, nebulas, galaxies, superclusters, supercluster-complex and finally the universe, but it goes beyond that... Thanks for everyone's support that we've managed to hit 100K subscribers (actually 125K now). Please like and share this video if you find it interesting and we'll continue making videos like this. This is the first of it's kind video which is incredibly hard to create due to the overload of resources. It took our team over 1000 hours across 6 months to do and we could not have done it without the support of every one of our subscribers and supporters. As of 12/3/2017 there are no other complete 3D size comparison available, hopefully this video could encourage others to do the same, for what we're all passionate with, the perspective view of our Universe. Animated comparison of some of the most expensive cars from each brand, most expensive planes, most expensive yachts, most expensive ships, military vehicles and even spacecrafts in the world. And how big is the stacks of money you will need to buy that. From the cheapest Tata Nano, to the most expensive production car of several brands, to expensive supercars such as Lamborghini Veneno, Ferrari FXX K, Maybach Exelero . We're not even done! Next comes auctioned cars that fetch way more than production cars, along the way we past by small jets, yachts, tanks and even helicopters. Eventually, we compare the prices & costs of the most expensive cruise ships, planes, destroyers, aircraft carriers, super yachts, submarines and a lot more! All the way to the USS Gerald Ford Super Carrier at 12.8 billion USD and even beyond that! Note: 1) Inflation not taken into account unless stated. 2) Figures listed here can either be price or cost to build. 3) Production car refers to cars released for the general market and not auctioned off nor one-off special production or modification. PS: Yes we are aware in the mistake for the Mclaren F1 LM spec picture as well as the Rolls Royce Sweptail Picture. Its our fault and we will do our best to minimize any errors in the future. In this animated video, we compare the obesity levels of countries and rank 188 of them. The fatness level is measured using 3 indices: BMI (Body Mass Index), Obesity rate and overweight rate of countries. We use the popular countryball series where the length of the ball corresponds with the unit size of BMI. Visualization note: The countryballs have same height but are linearly scaled across their width by their BMI. i.e. A Countryball with a BMI of 30 would be 1.5X the width of a Countryball with a BMI of 20. Flag note for Poland: Polandball is drawn this way as a rule of Countryball (upside down)! That is also why Indoball has a rice hat. In this video, we visualize the stats of 188 countries in terms of their Income, Health and Education levels. The method of comparing is through their Human Development Index (HDI), developed by Indian Nobel prize winner Amartya Sen and Pakistani economist Mahbub ul Haq. While there may be other factors (such as happiness, freedom, work hours etc) that determine the "best" countries, we shall just assume the level of development (ie HDI ranking) as the sole determinant. Note: The yellow '$' Sign refers to Gross National Income per Capita (Adjusted for Purchasing Power Parity) in USD, in short GNI per capita (PPP$). The green graduation hat represents the average of mean and expected years of schooling. The red '+' symbol represents both males and females life expectancy in years. The bar is a linear visualization of the rankings of each of the 3 category, a ranking to compare the relative individual stats of countries. Due to lack of information, the following countries: Monaco, Nauru, North Korea, San Marino, Somalia, Tuvalu and Vatican City are excluded. Non UN member states (eg Taiwan & Kosovo) are also excluded. Territories by countries (eg Hong Kong, Macao & Puerto Rico) are also excluded for consistency, although HK would be tied with Sweden at 7th if included.
