Performance and workshop with Krinkl Theatre (NSW)
A story of times gone by in Australia, depicting changes in
technology and the environment. With the North Coast's most
popular native animals, (puppets made out of everyday materials)
Grass is Greener shows the human impact on their lives. After
the performance the children have the opportunity to make and
learn how to move a Brush Turkey puppet seen earlier in the
show.

8 Shadow Creatures
with Lynne Kent (Brisbane)
There's a world of bizarre and brilliant creatures lurking in the
shadows. Lynne Kent will work with participants to design, create
and manipulate their own shadow puppets. Together children
will develop stories and bring their own creatures to life in the
dark.

19 Origami Puppets
with Philip Millar (Puppetvision Melbourne)
Find out how to make your own origami puppets. Take home a
handful of laughing, snapping, curious creatures. This is a new
workshop for the festival and a wonderful opportunity for children
to work with one of Australia's most inventive puppet builders.
