Marvel Comics What If Wizard Magazine Still Existed Reaction?

03:15
When I think of Marvel Comics the past few years and them going full Social Justice Warrior. Which is a popular term now for identity politics. Which is basically hiring people based on there gender or race. And not about hiring the best most skilled people to make there comic books. I wonder if Wizard Magazine was still around would they be supporting the agenda? Or would they have pushed back against it? Or exposed what was going on? Back in the day Wizard Magazine had a lot of influence on both the comic book industry. And in the comic book market place. Comment, subscribe and thanks for watching. Even though I was action figure collecting Marvel Legends and other toylines right from the very start. I didn't get into Spider-Man, Marvel Legends reviews or any other action figure video reviews because I didn't think anyone would be interested in what I had to say. But with so many toys and action figures I took a chance and started a youtube channel to make video reviews and to my surprise it caught on and I met many like minded people thanks to this review channel. I always try to improve making reviews and learn more as this comic toy reviews channel further develops. As superhero movies got more popular this channel also covers that news as well. In the future this channel might add superhero related gameplay videos. From Spider-Man, the X-men, Batman and so much more I try to cover it all. From hauls, unboxing, comic book talk, reviews, movie talk and more. I try to make as many videos as I can but at the same time youtube videos on this channel is not my career. So sometimes I can't post regularly. But with that said I hope you still like this channel and the topics I review. If you like Marvel, DC, superheroes, Marvel Legends, Marvel Universe, Spider-Man, Batman, Hulk, Iron Man, Avengers and more hope you will subscribe. Youtube made it also more complicated and added an extra step, you also now have to hit the notification bell by the subscribe button if you want to get notifications when new videos are up.

This issue could be considered historic. The first big piece with the founding fathers of Image Comics. Hear their initial thoughts and ideas about what they planned for the company. Next comes a complete 360 turn with the money guys behind Valiant Comics who think that they create comics because they tell Jim Shooter and Bob Layton to reference Methuselah. Wizard Comics Magazine Canceled

03:46
Thoughts about Wizard Magazine being canceled in printed form, and now only a digital website. It once was a powerful force in the comic book market. Now it's no longer a power player and I do not think it can regain it's glory. The industry has moved beyond them and they cannot catch up. Music by: Beethoven - Ode To Joy

57:55
This third issue of Wizard Magazine is jam packed with two solid interviews (Erik "Savage Dragon" Larsen and Simon Bisley). Part 1 of a 2 part John Byrne feature about all his plans for his new X-Men gig (even though it only lasted two issues). Slowly but surely Wizard is shaping up to become the magazine we all remember... Wizard Magazine issue 5, January 1992, Kayfabe Commentary

01:20:57
In time for the holiday season, Jim tells a heartwarming tale about getting the exact thing he wanted for Christmas, but there was a catch! Wizard Magazine issue 5, January 1992 is jam-packed with content. The boys, Ed Piskor and Jim Rugg tackle them all! Including: • Who Chris Claremont thought should play Wolverine in the X-Men flick • Jack Kirby invented the Punisher (no, not "that" Punisher) • Ron Lim, the cover artist of this issue, talks Silver Surfer and the jobber lifestyle • An interview with Peter David where he mentions his deep connection to The Little Mermaid • Peter David is also salty that artists are getting to write their own, giant-selling comics. • Comic Investor 900 numbers! What scumbags! • The Simonson's, Walt and Louise, share brains, and accurately predict the future of comics. • Bet you didn't think you'd hear Raina Telgemeier's name mentioned in a Wizard related podcast. • Julius Schwartz, the notorious DC editor, was responsible for the notorious HP Lovecraft's preservation outside of the pulps (yes, we know they were both bad human beings) • Teamsters, Brian Stelfreeze, Denys Cowan's modeling career, Bill Sienkiewicz mullet, and more! I was looking for Witchblade and Fathom 1/2 for quite sime time. At conventions they go for 10$ each, and I'm not willing to pay that much. I spotted a local add from a guy who was selling 12 #1/2 with certificates for 15$... That made me a happy collector .
