With over 20 years of experience in providing quality healthcare, Pratiksha Group is an established name in East India. The brand wanted to launch their flagship project, ‘W Hospital’, with an exclusive focus on women’s healthcare. The health of a woman has a deep impact on families, communities and well-being of children. And with modern lifestyles, women are facing new healthcare challenges. The brand endeavours to serve women’s healthcare needs across all stages of their lives. Our task was to design the brand identity and establish W Hospital as a one-stop destination for women’s healthcare. The identity is inspired by the spiral goddess symbol. Spiral is a sign of female power through transition and growth. It also represents the eternal cycle of life. The triple spiral represents the three powers of maiden, mother and crone. A flexible identity system was designed, allowing us to extend the concept to all the different departments within the hospital.

Werlich Coordenador Luiz Salomão Ribas Gomez Centro de Comunicação e Expressão Departamento de Expressão Gráfica Laboratório de Orientação da Gênese Organizacional Ciências Sociais Aplicadas - Comunicação Visual Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC branding, identidade, design, cidade, territorio A pesquisa foi realizada através da investigação sobre a conexão entre o UXdesign e o branding territorial, feita a partir da análise e aplicação da metodologia TXM por meio de projetos de branding territorial, mais especificamente a Rota da Inovação e o Projeto Marca Florianópolis. Ambos estão ligados ao Laboratório de Orientação da Gênese Organizacional e tem como objetivo gerar envolvimento da cidade e seus "usuários"(cidadãos, turistas e diversos outras classes sociais que possuem ligação com a cidade) aos projetos, gerando posterior material útil para a produção de artigos científicos. Buscou-se desenvolver/adaptar uma metodologia para a construção de branding territorial, sendo objeto de estudo a Marca Florianópolis, que culminou no "Minha Floripa", resultado final do processo. Para tal construção, utilizou-se a metodologia TXM Branding, que possui foco na experiência do usuário com os processos de branding. O método foi idealizado pelo Prof. Dr. Luiz Salomão Ribas Gomez e originou-se na metodologia anteriormente utilizada pelo laboratório, a TVU Branding. Ela parte do princípio da cocriação para a constituição de resultados metodológicos dentro do design. Para a constituição desse processo, levantou-se a opinião dos cidadãos e de pessoas ligadas a cidade, buscando conhecê-la para assim desenvolver seu sistema de Identidade Visual. A Rota da Inovação e o Projeto Marca Florianópolis possibilitaram a análise e aplicação prática de etapas com caráter UXDesign. A análise e participação em outros projetos de branding desenvolvidos pelo laboratório proporcionam tanto o ponto de vista projetual quanto do próprio usuário nas diferentes etapas envolvidas, além de evoluir profissionalmente o aluno, já que o teor prático também ganha destaque bastante destaque na formação do aluno. logo.ufsc.br [email protected] [email protected] [email protected]
