Secret Service in Action: Behind the Scenes (Waiting for President Obama)
President Obama has just arrived at the Globe Theatre in London and the United States Secret Service are busy turning the vehicles around since they drove down a dead-end street. The first vehicle seen here is a black Chevrolet Suburban which is the White House Communications Agency (WHCA) vehicle which ensures secure communications with the White House for command continuity. Notice that when the Secret Service Agent gets out of the back door of the Suburban, the window is completely covered over with some sort of non-transparent material. It could be metal. It's also clear that the vehicle has minimal if any armor unlike the other Suburbans in the "secure package" closer to the president. Also note that it's clear that the rear seat of the Suburban has been removed just from the way the USSS Agent climbs out of the back door. As The Beast is being turned around, one of the USSS agents asks the London Met Counter Assault Team to move the Land Rover which can been seen pulling out. You can also see a London Metropolitan counter Assault Team in an unmarked black BMW X5 at 01:06. At 02:27 we clearly see the Ford F-550 hazardous materials support vehicle pulling out and getting into position. This vehicle has a gurney in the back for transporting the injured protectee. At 01:02 : "I guess he's got to fill Air Force One with something." :) This is the Secret Service in Action. 11 Survival Tips from a Former Secret Agent
A former secret agent is sharing his advice on how to get through any critical situation. It's always fascinating to see how easily CIA agents in movies can survive any extreme situation. Well, they’re even cooler and more resilient in real life. So even if you're the safest driver ever, it wouldn’t hurt to know what to do in case of an accident. When you’re driving, you should keep your hands at 9-and-3, not 10-and-2 as they used to say. Unfortunately, dog attacks are also quite common these days. A mixture of water and ammonia, using a can of pressurized air, like those sprayable air dusters for cleaning keyboards or pepper spray or another animal’s urine will save you. If you ever find yourself in a burning building, there's a chance that you'll need to knock the door down to escape or help others. The way you see it done in the movies couldn't be more wrong! Running towards it and throwing your whole body against it can leave you with a dislocated shoulder or even broken bones. In the moment, panic often takes over, but try to suppress it and follow some important rules. To protect yourself during a shooting, you need to find a good cover. If you’ve got a gun pointed at you, it's best to behave extremely carefully to minimize any possible risks of getting seriously hurt. If a serious explosion is about to go off, your actions should be quick and precise. Finding refuge is the most important thing. In case you get locked in the trunk of a car, you can try to open the trunk's lock latch. Another option is to try to escape through the folding back seat. If the snow on the ground is really thick and you see a couple of evergreen trees nearby, then you’ve found the perfect place to build yourself a refuge to wait out the storm and warm up a bit. Music: Barge Gunnar Olsen Sci-Fi Swamp Chase - Sir Cubworth TIMESTAMPS A car crash 0:46 A dog attack 1:50 Knocking the door down in case of fire 2:50 Barricading a door 3:37 A shooting 4:23 Being at gunpoint 5:19 An explosion 6:12 Being locked in the trunk of a car 6:50 If your hands and feet are tied together 7:37 Being in water with your hands and feet tied 8:21 Making a shelter in deep snow 9:11 Bonus: secret agent must-haves 10:10 SUMMARY -When you’re driving, you should keep your hands at 9-and-3, not 10-and-2 as they used to say. If you’re a passenger in the back seat, during a collision, put your hands on the back of your head, press your forehead against the seat in front of you, and keep your knees bent at a 90° angle. -A mixture of water and ammonia is one of the best ways to scare away aggressive dogs. The most effective choice is pepper spray or another animal’s urine. -A precise and powerful enough kick with your heel will knock out any lock. -You can put rubber doorstops all around the door’s crevices or do it like in the movies: just put a bunch of heavy objects in front of the door. -To protect yourself during a shooting, you need to find a good cover. Remember that things like clipboards and hardcover books can stop bullets, so you can use them as a bulletproof vest. -If somebody is pointing a gun at your back and has ordered you to walk ahead, raise your arms and slow down so that the gun is pressed right up against your back. Then, turn around quickly, bring one arm down so that it traps the gun under your armpit, and use your other arm to attack the gunman. -Finding refuge is the most important thing. Cross your legs, open your mouth, and cover your ears with your hands. -Find the emergency pull located on the inside of the trunk, and the trunk will pop open. -To free your legs, stand up straight and point your toes out to make a “V” with your feet. Then, jump up and as you land, spread your knees really fast. If your hands are tied behind your back, you need to get them in front of you. Once that's done, press them together tightly and then quickly pull them apart. -Don't panic, take deep breaths in and quick breaths out. If you're swimming on your belly, move by bending your knees, straightening them back again, and keeping your back arched so that your head stays above water. -Find the thickest evergreen tree with low hanging branches and dig a hole in the snow along the tree trunk. Then pack the snow on the “walls” of your hideaway as densely as you can. -Some of the most popular contents in special agents' bags include a key to handcuffs, a flashlight, a gun, a pen, a compass, a razor blade, a pocket knife, a mouthguard, and some lockpicks. 10 Hidden Details The Secret Service Doesn't Want You To Know
Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/9CwQhg Try out ThePremium Network for free https://goo.gl/7Ueuwz For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] You’ve seen them running alongside the presidential limousine, scanning large crowds like hawks and walking around the grounds of the White House. Of course, we’re talking about the US Secret Service. These men and women have a serious job and they definitely look the part. Dressed in their black suits, their best-known job is to protect the POTUS. But there’s more to it than that. As you’ll see with these following 10 secrets, the Secret Service is about more than looking intimidating while wearing sunglasses. Ahead we’ll start you off by explaining the original purpose of the Secret Service. Spoiler alert – it didn’t actually involve protecting the President. From investigations to interrogations, we’ll take a look at some of the other jobs the Secret Service performs today. Ever wonder what would happen if most of the US government was wiped out? Well, the Secret Service plays a role in ensuring the continuity of the government and it involves the secret location of Mount Weather. Of course, all those men and women in suits need a place to hang out and we’ve found it on H Street in Washington D.C. We’ll also show you that the Secret Service isn’t all about taking a bullet either. No, they are prepared to perform all sorts of life-saving procedures on the President to ensure their chances of staying alive between the time of an incident and arrival at the nearest hospital. There’s also the fact that not all agents are human. That’s right, dogs do their part in the secret service and their training is just as rigorous as it is for their two-legged masters. Then there’s the proximity of the Secret Service to the President. As you’ll see, they are always nearby and sometimes it can be a little too close for comfort. Even in the safe confines of the White House, agents are on guard and that includes those stationed in the kitchen. They’re not just there to keep the chefs safe. We’ll show you how agents are forensic experts who can track down a threatening letter just by the type of ink it was written with. Finally, there’s the weaponry and equipment. We all know the Secret Service packs some firepower. However, the types of devices and weapons can be truly mind-boggling as it demonstrates they are ready for nearly any scenario. The agency symbolizes the power and importance of our nation’s highest office. Today, its taken for granted that stoic agents wearing suits and earpieces are constantly watching over our Commander-in-Chief, but the President wasn’t always this protected. This is the history of the U.S. Secret Service. During the Revolutionary War, General George Washington ordered a “Lifeguard” be formed to protect him, along with the money and official papers of the Continental Army. This is a passage from historian Ron Chernow’s biography on Washington: “…’To guard against assassination — which I neither expect nor dread — is impossible,’ Washington later wrote. But he knew that kidnapping attempts were always a possibility, especially since he himself would hatch a couple of failed schemes to kidnap British generals. His order to forge a personal guard — or “lifeguard” as it was commonly called — also sprang from a desire to be surrounded by a crack team of disciplined professionals who would accompany him whenever he rode out to review the troops. Protective of his historical reputation, Washington committed the care of his personal papers to this guard. Having such an elite corps at the beck and call of the chief general was a throwback to the glittering world of European armies.” The men assigned to the Commander-In-Chief’s Guard were honored to be trusted to protect their beloved general. For this reason, special care was taken to ensure the soldiers serving in the prestigious unit represented each of the 13 colonies. It was disbanded in 1783 at the conclusion of the war. In 1865, Abraham Lincoln resurrected Washington’s idea, creating an elite outfit of federal law enforcement officials to combat the counterfeiting of American dollars that had been rampant during the Civil War. One-third of all US currency in circulation was reportedly fake, so there was much work to be done to secure the integrity of the nation’s monetary system that powered the entire economy. Ironically, the legislation establishing the Secret Service was awaiting Lincoln’s signature on his desk the night he was assassinated—a strange coincidence, even if the agency wasn’t tasked with protecting the President for another 36 years. Fast-forward to a sweltering September afternoon in 1901. While greeting hundreds of people in a receiving line at the Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, President William McKinley was shot twice by an assassin who had used a handkerchief to conceal his weapon. McKinley eventually succumbed to his wounds and died eight days later. This finally forced Congress to act, legally mandating the Secret Service to protect the President. In a sign of the frequent obstinance of the US Congress, three Presidents — Lincoln, James A. Garfield, and McKinley — perished by assassins before America’s legislative body did something to address the glaring problem. In 1950, the only secret service agent ever killed while protecting a president died during an assassination attempt on Harry Truman. [Newsreel]: “Outside Blair House — the President’s temporary Washington home — extreme fanatics of the Puerto Rican nationalist party try to force their way in, guns blazing, to assassinate the President of the United States.” The assailants opened fire on agent Leslie Coffelt and other White House Police officers. Despite being mortally wounded, Coffelt returned fire and killed one of the attackers with a single shot. The darkest day in the history of Secret Service came on November 22, 1963 when President John F. Kennedy, riding through downtown Dallas in a convertible, was shot twice and killed. An investigation by the US House of Representatives eventually determined that “the Secret Service did not properly analyze information it possessed prior to the assassination and was inadequately prepared to protect the President.”...

10 Crazy Security Features in The White House
Top 10 facts about President Donald Trump's home security and protection. The most heavily guard house in America. Subscribe to TheHub http://goo.gl/87YJzG Security is an important part of the President’s daily life. Whether it be protection by the Secret Service or the latest technology, the POTUS has to constantly be monitored. Whereas most office buildings in the United States have some form of security, the White House makes them all look amateur. After all, the building is housing the most important government official in the country. The security features of the United States have definitely evolved over the years. What started out as a simple fence has grown to an all out technological masterpiece. And that’s just the parts we know about. It has long been rumored that a high tech bunker exists under the white house, and in 2010 it may have been confirmed. It has also been said that the White House uses a complicated system of lasers and radars. That is in addition to using classic techniques like bullet proof glass and steel fences. The technology used to protect the president is second to none. It uses the defence budget of the United States that is overwhelmingly the biggest in the world. The Secret Service is a 24/7 operation whose purpose is to protect the leader inside the White House. As they adapt to drones and changing threats, the facility must change with the times. As the Presidency is the most important position in the government, the most important building is also the White House. That means the security features must be the greatest technology available. Obama's Ex Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino "It's Worse Than People Know"
Obama Ex Secret Service Agent Dan Bongino "It's Worse Than People Know" Obama's Ex-Bodyguard: Scandals 'Worse Than You Know' Full Video Here: http://youtu.be/-nfA7IyL1pk You may have your suspicions about what's going on behind closed doors at the White House. But according to one of President Obama's former body guards it's much worse than we can even imagine. Dan Bongino has protected numerous Presidents over his career, including President Obama. He has been within ear-shot of many a discussion in the Oval Office, but up until this administration has stayed out of the lime light. Apparently, however, the activities of this administration are so abhorrent that he could no longer keep quiet. Bongino is so upset with what he witnessed that he is now running for Congress because he feels it's the only way to take America back from the sycophants who have made every effort to enrich themselves with money and power at the expense of the American people. How bad is it? We're in a lot of trouble. The President sees government -- and I think it's because of his lack of experience and maybe community organizing in the past -- as this shiny new toy. For all the disagreements I had with Clinton, Carter and Bush there were always limits... there was that line you just didn't cross... We cross it seemingly every day. We're lost in the scandals... The Jamie Dimon shakedown at Chase... the HHS scandal.. Kathleen Sebelius shaking down the health care industry for money... the IRS... it's to the point where these scandals in and of themselves would be huge back-breaking scandals [but] are just lost in the scandal fog of this administration... It's worse than people know... and I'm not trying to scare you either. I bought it 2 years ago for $3000 which was a pretty good deal considering my friends and I put over 50,000 miles on it in those 2 years. So when I began filming this video I had a cheap 4 door white car that ran pretty well. Id bought it for $800 and knew it was no prize but it was perfect for driving in a field for 5 minutes then getting blown to bits. Unfortunately one of the guys who works for me decided to take it for "a little spin" just before we were to film the videos last segment. He somehow managed to blow up the engine and I was left with 2 options: I could either scrap the video concept and pay for another day of filming which would be very costly. Or I could blow up the SUV which btw the guy who broke the original car had been driving for over a month. Unfortunately for him the decision was easy, we got his stuff out, through in 13lbs of explosives and a few gallons of fuel and said goodbye to the Montero.

Excellent Secret Service Protection For President Reagan 1982- compare to The Kennedy Detail
http://www.amazon.com/Survivors-Guilt-Service-Failure-President/dp/1937584607/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373914997&sr=8-1&keywords=vince+palamara Now THIS is protection! Robert DeProspero, the SAIC of Reagan's PPD (Presidential Protective Division of the Secret Service) 1982-1985, really knew what he was doing, as exemplified in this rare video from President Reagan's trip to Germany to visit Checkpoint Charlie in the Summer of 1982. Far superior to the inept Kennedy Detail. http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/JFKpalamara.htm http://www.myspace.com/vincepalamara http://www.google.com/profiles/vincepalamara Vincent Palamara was born in Pittsburgh and graduated from Duquesne University with a degree in Sociology. Although not even born when President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, Vince brings fresh eyes to an old case. In fact, Vince would go on to study the largely overlooked actions - and inactions - of the United States Secret Service in unprecedented detail, as well as achieving a world's record in the process, having interviewed and corresponded with over seventy former agents (the House Select Committee on Assassinations had the old record of 46 with a 6 million dollar budget and supboena power from Congress), not to mention many surviving family members, White House aides, and even quite a few Parkland and Bethesda medical witnesses for a corresponding project. The result was Survivor's Guilt; The Secret Service & The Failure To Protect The President, a very successful self-published book that sold thousands of copies in the 1990's before becoming a free online e-book in 2006. In addition, the aforementioned corresponding project on the John F. Kennedy assassination medical evidence, JFK: The Medical Evidence Reference, Vince's second book, although almost an afterthought to Vince's main area of research, still sold hundreds of copies and was favorably mentioned in books by William Law, R. Andrew Kiel, James Fetzer, and even Vince Bugliosi. Like his first book, Vince's medical evidence tome became a free online e-book in 2006. All told, Vince has been favorably mentioned in over 50 JFK and Secret Service related books to date (including two whole chapters in Murder in Dealey Plaza, The Secret Service: The Hidden History Of An Enigmatic Agency by Philip Melanson, and the Final Report of the Assassination Records Review Board, among many others), often at length, in the bibliographies, and in the Secret Service - and even medical evidence - areas of these works. Vince has appeared on the History Channel, local cable access television, YouTube, radio, newspapers, print journals, at national conferences, and all over the internet. Also, Vince's original research materials, or copies of said materials, are stored in the National Archives (by request under Deed Of Gift by the ARRB), the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library, Harvard University, the Assassination Archives and Research Center, and the Dallas Public Library. Vince Palamara has become known (as he was dubbed by the History Channel in 2003) "the Secret Service expert." As former JFK Secret Service agent Joe Paolella proclaimed: "You seem to know a lot about the Secret Service, maybe even more than I do," while fellow JFK Secret Service agent Chuck Zboril stated: "You might be helpful to the official Secret Service historian who works out of Washington!"

EXECUTIVE DISORDER - Secret Service Gameplay
That reminds me. I need to get back to work on the script for my sequel to "White House Down". It's called "Whiter House Down 2: White House Downer: The Re-Downening". It's mostly just ninety minutes of Channing Tatum in a dirty tank top dancing to save a rec center or woo a single mom with a secret or something, then Jamie Foxx jumps the Grand Canyon in a car but the car's also a robot. I might give the robot AIDS. Haven't decided yet.
