Poland Trip 2017 (HD 1080p)

22:48
Poland Trip 2017, Poland Travel Guide, Poland Tourism, Tatra National Park, Malbork castle Travel Videos HD, World Travel Guide http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=World1Tube Poland is one of the larger countries in Central Europe. It has a long Baltic Sea coastline and is bordered by Belarus, the Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Russia (the Kaliningrad Oblast exclave), Slovakia, and Ukraine. Cities ------------ Most of the major cities boast lovely old centres and a range of splendid buildings, some of them World Heritage sites. Many old quarters were heavily damaged or even destroyed in WWII bombings, but were meticulously rebuilt after the war, using the original bricks and ornaments where possible. Although remains of the Soviet Union and even scars of the Second World War are visible in most of them, the Polish cities offer great historic sight seeing while at the same time they have become modern, lively places. The capital, Warsaw, has one of the best old centres and its many sights include the ancient city walls, palaces, churches and squares. You can follow the Royal Route to see some of the best landmarks outside the old centre. The old city of Kraków is considered the country's cultural capital, with another gorgeous historic centre, countless monumental buildings and a few excellent museums. Just 50 km from there is the humbling Auschwitz concentration camp which, due to the horrible events it represents, leaves an impression like no other World Heritage Site does. The ancient Wieliczka Salt Mine, also a World Heritage Site, is another great daytrip from Kraków. The provincial capital of Poznań is an underestimated city, but definitely worth a visit. With the oldest cathedral in the country and also the second biggest necropolis in the country for kings and rulers, a beautiful Renaissance town hall with two battling billy goats (seen only around noon), and an impressive 20th century imperial palace built for the German kaiser (just to mention a few attractions) makes a great impression on most visitors. Once a Hanseatic League town, the port city of Gdańsk boasts many impressive buildings from that time. Here too, a walk along the Royal Road gives a great overview of notable sights. Wrocław, the capital of Lower Silesia, is still less well-known but can definitely compete when it comes to amazing architecture; its Centennial Hall being the prime example. The city's picturesque location on the Oder and countless bridges make this huge city a lovely place. The old town of Zamość was planned after Italian theories of the "ideal town" and named "a unique example of a Renaissance town in Central Europe" by UNESCO. The stunning medieval city of Toruń has some great and original Gothic architecture, as it is one of the few Polish cities to have completely escaped devastation in WWII. The city of Lublin additionally boasts an impressive historic old town, castle, and serene surrounding countryside. Natural attractions ----------------------- With 23 national parks and a number of landscape parks spread all over the country, natural attractions are never too far away. Białowieża National Park, on the Belarus border, is a World Heritage Site as it comprises the last remains of the primeval forest that once covered most of Europe. It's the only place where European bison still live in the wild. If you're fit and up for adventure, take the dangerous Eagle's Path (Orla Perć) in the Tatra Mountains, where you'll also find Rysy, Poland's highest peak. Pieniński National Park boasts the stunning Dunajec River Gorge and Karkonoski National Park is home to some fabulous waterfalls. The mountainous Bieszczady National Park has great hiking opportunities and lots of wildlife. Wielkopolska National Park is, in contrast, very flat and covers a good part of the pretty Poznań Lakeland. The Masurian Landscape Park, in the Masurian Lake District, with its 2000 lakes, is at least as beautiful. Bory Tucholskie National Park has the largest woodland in the country and has many lakes too, making it great for birdwatching. The two national parks on Poland's coast are also quite popular: Wolin National Park is located on an island in the north-west, and Słowiński National Park holds some of the largest sand dunes in Europe. Castles & other rural monuments -------------------------------------------- The Polish countryside is lovely and at times even gorgeous, with countless historic villages, castles, churches and other monuments. Agrotourism is therefore increasingly popular. If you have a taste for cultural heritage, the south western parts of the country offer some of the best sights, but there's great stuff in other areas too. The impressive Gothic Wawel Castle in Krakow may be one of the finest examples when it comes to Poland's castles, but most of the others are located in smaller countryside towns.

In Haiti: A road trip documentary (English)

01:13:53
Watch the movie in other languages & check out the video interviews with the filmmakers: www.inhaitifilm.com Synopsis: An unique road trip. An unprecedented, genuine portrait of Haiti. Filmed in Cap-Haitien, Hinche, Port-au-Prince and Petit Goave in 2008, two years before the devastating earthquake -- world food prices were dramatically increasing and an UN peacekeeping mission was going on. The film is a record of pre-earthquake Haiti. In Haiti follows the two filmmakers and friends, Florian Wiesner and Fabian Bohnet-Waldraff on a month-long road trip through the island. During their journey they get immersed in the different and complex aspects of haitian reality.  Instead of focusing on the usual poverty/violence topics seen in the mass media, the filmmakers present a colorful and deeper picture of the country and its people. The movie is also about road stories, improbabilities, impressions and anecdotes. Some of the issues explored by this documentary are: The school and health system, the causes of deforestation and food insecurity. An insight is also given on the history of the country and the voodoo religion. Toledo Spain - A Must See Town and Perfect Day Trip From Madrid | 90+ Countries w/3 Kids

20:30
Join us for a tour of Toledo one of the most visited places in all of Spain! We were completely amazed. Walking through the streets of this city made us feel that we had gone back to the Middle Ages when Toledo was the capital of Spain. It was one of the most important centres in Europe from the Gothic epoch until 1560 and its buildings stand tall to witness this period in time. The architecture is really impressive with the main sights being the large fortress (alcázar) built by the monarchs, the vast and richly decorated cathedral, and the impressive archdiocesan palace built by the prelates of Toledo, primates of the Spanish church. However, apart from the stunning infrastructure we also realized that there are so many souvenir shops in the city that also express the culture and identity of Toledo. They are filled with beautiful handmade products. The city is surrounded by the River Tajo on three sides and two medieval walls on the fourth side. Enjoy the video and let us know where you are watching from. ______________________________________________ Living life while exploring and discovering 90+ countries around the world! First Thoughts on Turkey Trip and Turkish Culture 🇹🇷 | Jay & Rengin

08:29
Merhaba! After Jay's first trip to Turkey, we sit down and discuss our first thoughts on Turkey, Turkish Culture and the language. There were so many differences in Turkey compared to back home for Jay in London, England; especially the Turkish culture; but the best would probably be the food! We LOVE Turkish food and would love to eat food in Turkey everyday! Our favourite Turkish foods would be mixed grills, ezme salatasi, lamacun, durums and so many amazing home cooked Turkish food! Jay has been learning Turkish language and Turkish culture for a while, and explains his thoughts on the language and if the Turkish language is too difficult to learn We touched on all the incredible markets in Turkey and things to do in Istanbul, including The Grand Bazaar in Istanbul which is one of the largest and oldest covered markets in the world; where we got world famous Kurukahveci Mehmet Efendi Turk Kahvesi, (Turkish Coffee); which was some of the best coffee we've ever had! Then finally some thoughts on things to do in Bodrum, like all the incredible Turkish food, to fun boat parties and the amazing night life! --- There's so many things to do in Turkey, and we can't wait to go back! We might even be going back to Turkey this year, but where in Turkey shall we go? Shot from the travellers point of view, my film enables viewers to develop their knowledge of existing Paris landmarks, as well as allowing them to experience unique cultural aspects of the city that are less well known. `A Trip to Paris` was shot on my Digital SLR camera, so allows for a truly cinematic and high definition view of life in Paris. Places and landmarks featured in this documentary include (in order of appearance): The Jardin des Tuileries, Pont des Arts, Notre-Dame, Musée Du Louvre, The Seine River, The Sacré-Coeur Basilica, The Centre Pompidou, and The Eiffel Tower. Please watch this documentary in HD to get the best experience from the film. Enjoy! India Trip | Amritsar, Punjab

22:21
Things I like about Punjab and the Culture. The people. The way they dance. The way they speak. The juice stands everywhere. The chaotic traffic. Their smiles. Their humor. Their energy. Their hospitality. Their politeness. Their kindness. Their big caring hearts. Their respect for elders. Their tasty foods. Their sweet hot chai, I could drink it all the time. Their street foods and their snacks. Their vibrant colours. Their Kurta Pajama and Salwar suits. Their aggressive selling. Their laid-back approach. How they welcome you for a dinner or chai. How that we become friends so quickly. How everything is done in slow motion. How they love love. How the word "No" doesn't mean "No". How they dress modestly. How it's too hot or too cold. How nothing is quiet and it's normal. How they celebrate just about everything. How they overload their transportation's. How that the most simple task is not that simple of a task. How that going to buy a snack one hundred meters away can turn into an adventure. How I'm lost and feel like a child all over again, learning how things work. How you are always entertained just by watching the street. How children at a young age are strong mentally. How many cows and dogs walk among the crowd like it's no big deal. How people are happy with just the smallest things. How everything is cheap. How they feed the hungry.

It makes me a happy knowing that people out there in the real world are enjoying my mixes. Music has had such a tremendous impact on my life, I find it inspiring that so many people have taken to my mixes. Though... if I had just one wish, it would be that I could make more of them. I tend to be way too fucking analytical with these things. I can't even tell you how many mixes I throw away each month. A couple days ago I listened to one and realized the stuff I throw away, really ain't all that bad. Though not too bad, isn't exactly what I'm shooting for either. So, I've decided to compromise, which is a bad habit, but I'll relent, for now. Each week I will post one new trip hop mix to my Soundcloud. I'm going to shoot for late Saturday night, 12:00 AM Eastern Standard Time. The weekend will be coming to a close with work creeping around the corner, seems like a good time for a sweet mix. All these mixes will be done with no rehearsal, setlist or any of that noise. I'm just gonna throw down, it should be fun :) Here's a link, every Saturday night at 12:00 AM, hope to see you there. https://soundcloud.com/the-confused-b-m-c

Day Trip To Ghent, Belgium | Travel Vlog | World Culture Network

14:44
Welcome to our Ghent, Belgium vlog. This video is not as much a Ghent travel guide, but more of a Ghent, Belgium travel experience with food, attractions, and tourism that can be explored in 1 day in Ghent. In this episode of #TheDayTripShow, we take a day trip from Brussels to Ghent, a port city in northwest Belgium. We take a tram to the Ghent Tourist Board office and get off the tram before the Koren Market to walk up the remaining distance. After collecting a Gent City Cards, we head to the Gravensteen to explore this medieval monument. After a detailed tour, we continue our Ghent Day Trip looking for food. Ghent is shut on Mondays, so we settled for Mc Donald’s. After lunch, we went for a free water tram guided tour to get the gorgeous view of the Graslei in Ghent also known as mini-London. We also visited St. Bavo’s Cathedral on our Ghent Day Trip. By the end of the day, the Market Square was magically lit up as we rushed for local Belgian Waffles, Belgian Hot Chocolate, and some traditional sugar sweets. We hadn’t explored it all, but our Ghent day trip from Brussels was truly eventful. We highly recommend day trips from Brussels to both Ghent and Bruges in Belgium. #TuneInToWCN to watch The Day Trip Show, a show in which we take the day trip from popular cities to smaller towns, cities, and countries and explore them within the day! This is the island's cultural and economic heart, a lively crucible of music and politics. Like a plate of spicy jerk washed down with a cold Red Stripe beer, a visit to Kingston is essential to taste the rich excitement of modern Jamaica." 10 Things to Do in Kingston The Culture Trip - http://theculturetrip.com/caribbean/jamaica/articles/10-things-to-do-in-kingston/ "Home to half of Jamaica's 2.7 million people, Kingston is a growing metropolis surrounded by mountains in the north and coastline to the south. Like any major city, its neighborhoods vacillate between socioeconomic extremes, and while some areas have earned a reputation for violence, Kingston is well worth a visit. While you're there, you'll notice that the sometimes tough environment still provides a major source of inspiration to many Jamaican artists, musicians, writers, and athletes."

Island of the Gods The rich and diverse culture of Bali plays out at all levels of life, from the exquisite flower-petal offerings placed everywhere, to the processions of joyfully garbed locals, shutting down major roads as they march to one of the myriad temple ceremonies, to the otherworldly traditional music and dance performed island-wide. Almost everything has spiritual meaning. The middle of Bali is dominated by the dramatic volcanoes of the central mountains and hillside temples such as Pura Luhur Batukau (one of the island's estimated 10,000 temples), while the tallest peak, Gunung Agung, is the island's spiritual centre. One Island, Many Destinations On Bali you can lose yourself in the chaos of Kuta or the sybaritic pleasures of Seminyak and Kerobokan, surf wild beaches in the south or just hang out on Nusa Lembongan. You can go family-friendly in Sanur or savour a lavish getaway on the Bukit Peninsula. Ubud is the heart of Bali, a place where the culture of the island is most accessible, and it shares the island's most beautiful rice fields and ancient monuments with east and west Bali. Bali's Essence Yes, Bali has beaches, surfing, diving, and resorts great and small, but it's the essence of Bali – and the Balinese – that makes it so much more than just a fun-in-the-sun retreat. It is possible to take the cliché of the smiling Balinese too far, but in reality, the inhabitants of this small island are indeed a generous, genuinely warm people. There's also a fun, sly sense of humour. Upon seeing a bald tourist, many locals exclaim 'bung ujan', which means today's rain is cancelled – it's their way of saying that the hairless head is like a clear sky. Bali's Fun At the end of the day (which is the start of the day for some visitors), Bali's rich culture, many amazing sights and truly lovely people are what takes Bali's sheer delight to another level. Because Bali is fun, no matter what you want or who you are. Seminyak has shops and designers, Kerobokan has luxe beachside resorts and superb eating, Kuta and Legian have the nightlife, and Canggu wraps it all into one irresistible package. Plunge deep into Bali's spirit while renewing your own in Ubud or catching the perfect wave in Bingin. Bali (Balinese: Indonesian: Pulau Bali, Provinsi Bali) is an island and province of Indonesia. The province includes the island of Bali and a few smaller neighbouring islands, notably Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Ceningan. It is located at the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. Its capital, Denpasar, is located in the southern part of the island. Bali is part of the Coral Triangle, the area with the highest biodiversity of marine species. In this area alone over 500 reef building coral species can be found. For comparison, this is about 7 times as many as in the entire Caribbean. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ FYI: I just want to say, the beautiful music you're listening is property and made with love by the following artists and music companies listed. Trail runners from around the world were asked: "What is your #RunningDreamTrip? Tyler Courville's Dream Trip was to travel to Nepal with Mira Rai, and was subsequently selected from thousands of entries. Mira's story seems impossible; A Nepali village girl, turned child soldier, and now a globally recognised professional trail runner. Just a few months ago, she was voted National Geographic Adventurer of the Year. Mira shows Tyler her country as they travel to her village in the remote mountains of Eastern Nepal getting to know the culture, mountains and people along the way.

a BAD start to my trip, Traveling to India

21:22
VLOG 394 10/30-10/31 my 10 day adventure in India starts off on a bad note. I woke up late and missed my train. I planned to capture a lot of GoPro footage on my new Hero 7 and totally forget to bring it along. Almost ruined the entire trip by forgetting one of my most important bags in my brother's car. Once on board the flight, the entertainment system was not functional at all. This was probably the most stressful travel day I've ever experienced, but in the end it all worked out. Subscribe https://goo.gl/Hh7uKV for more honest and authentic videos about Cambodian life, by a Cambodian-American. A little bit about my channel... I mainly focus on creating videos about my travel to Cambodia and the Khmer life in the US. My goal is to document different Cambodian communities around the world. When I'm not traveling, I like to make vlogs about my daily life, which include enjoying good food with friends and family. I do have a background in tech so occasionally I'll review the gear that I'm using to make these videos. A little about myself... I came to the US with my father and mother at the age of 1, in the midst of the Khmer Rouge genocide. I lived for almost 40 years without ever returning to Cambodia. It was only recently that I made my first trip back to my homeland and since then, it has been my goal to learn about Cambodia's rich history, religion and document life of Cambodian people living there. In between my trips, I try to visit the different Khmer communities all over the US to see the differences and similarities between them. Please, I do apologize that my Cambodia language skills aren't the greatest, but I am trying to relearn! Contact info... Incredible UNSEEN FOOD of AFRICA - Dorze Ethnic Group in Ethiopia!

21:40
►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts and caps available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ This is Part 2 of our Ethiopian village cultural food tour. If you haven’t already seen Part 1, you can watch it here: From the incredible Konso Village, we drove back to Arba Minch in Ethiopia, and then continued driving into the mountains, to a Dorze ethnic people village, high into the misty peaks. This is the village where Dessie is originally from, and also our driver, so they know everyone there. It was amazing to arrive to the village. One of the amazing parts of Dorze Ethiopian culture are their elephant shaped traditional huts, which are unique and one of a kind, shaped like elephants. One of the main most important foods of the Dorze is false banana, also known as ensete. It’s called a false banana because they plant does not produce banana fruit, but just giant leaves, and you eat the stump. Aunty made a number of extremely unique dishes, including a false banana porridge, and a false banana pancake, along with coffee leaves tea - something I had never seen or ever heard of before. Visiting the Dorze of Ethiopia was an incredible culture and food learning experience, and it was an honor to have a chance to visit on this Ethiopian food tour trip. Thanks to Dessie from Go Addis Tours (http://goaddistours.com/) for arranging everything on this trip. That was the feeling I woke up with today. Had the day off, it was 6 AM and I was like let's get to work and spent the whole day on this. I've listened to it like 5 times now and I just love it. Be forewarned, it's heavy!!!
