Here’s what to do before anything else. The purpose of a product launch is to drive traffic and sales to your online business, so that it can grow and thrive. Launching a new product is a great way to attract new customers, but it takes time to plan and execute. Many entrepreneurs feel the need to promote their products right away, and end up rushing the process. The result can be disastrous. In the words of David Ramsey, "People are in such a hurry to launch their product that they seldom look at marketing from a bird's eye view and they don't create a systematic plan." A successful product launch starts with a great strategy, and I'm here to walk you through it. Are you ready to learn the step-by-step process for launching your product? Subscribe here ➜ http://bit.ly/JustOneDimeSubscribe If I was asked, "What is the #1 most important thing to teach a new Amazon seller?" without hesitation I would reply, "How to private label your product so that no one else can sell it." This is the heart of building passive income on Amazon. Private labeling means you did something to the product to make it uniquely your brand that no one else has rights to sell. Private labeling can be done on numerous levels, and one level that I did not mention in this video is informational private labeling, where you add a manual or how-to tips to your product--information that you personally wrote, so that no one else can mimic your product. Here are the main levels of private labeling your product on Amazon: First Level: - In your listing title, add "By [Your Company Name]" - Upload your logo as one of your product photos. Make sure it is not the first photo or the last two photos. Second Level: - Have your logo printed on a sticker that you attach to your product or to the packaging. - Have your logo printed on the product or the retail packaging of your product Third Level: - Accessorizing. Add accessories to your core product that no one else is adding to theirs. A powerful way to achieve this which makes it extremely hard for competitors to compete with you is by adding a training manual or instruction tips that you personally wrote. Fourth Level: - Trademark your company name and logo. You can apply for trademarks in numerous countries simultaneously here: http://www.wipo.int/madrid/en/ Brand Registry: When you register your brand with Amazon, no one else can edit your listing and it also makes it much more difficult for competitors to claim that your product is "not authentic." Three steps to take to be prepared for applying for the Brand Registry https://sellercentral.amazon.com/brand/catalog-brand-application/create?: 1. An image of your product packaging with branding visible on the packaging. 2. An image of a product with your branding visible on the product itself. 3. Link to an active website that displays your brand or products.

See how a great product brands use marketing focus to get rid of the advertising chatter and create a transcendent brand identity. Transcription text of the 3-Minute Emotional Marketing Lesson Video "Gillette Advertising Case Study: Best Tactics to Brand a Product Line" by Graeme Newell, emotional marketing researcher, emotional marketing speaker, customer loyalty researcher, and consultant at 602 Communications. Companies with large and varied product lines face a particularly tough marketing focus challenge. With so many different products, how can they unify their brand message and convey a single clear point? In this three-minute emotional marketing lesson video, Graeme Newell tells the marketing case study of Gillette, and shows how they used emotional marketing to unify their entire advertising message. See how a great product brands use marketing focus to get rid of the advertising chatter and create a transcendent brand identity. The Gillette advertising machine is a complex and multi-headed beast. The offer product brands ranging from razors to body wash, and everything in between. With that many different product brands, one might think it would be near impossible to keep marketing focus on how to brand a product properly -- but Gillette has done it, and done it very well. Today, a marketing case study on the Gillette advertising strategy, and how they manage to keep marketing focus steady with a wide range of product brands. Gillette Advertising There's no doubt about Gillette's advertising credentials, they brand a product very well, and have been doing so for a long time. At this current phase of their product brands, Gillette's best bet is not to recruit new buyers for their razors, but rather to set their marketing focus on getting current users to buy more blades. They brand a product by actually informing their users about why it's a better idea to throw out their old blades faster and buy new ones, not throwing some fancy advertising pitch at them. Another way to expand usage of their product brands is to get men to shave other parts of their bodies. This requires a marketing focus on teaching men how to do it. So in the end, with all of this teaching, how does Gillette advertising brand a product effectively? They do it by setting their marketing focus on the emotion that drives their customers, not the product itself. Brand a Product with a Passion Gillette advertising stays focused by not bothering with the actual physical properties of their product brands, but rather what they stand for. Gillette stands for confidence. When men shave in the morning with a Gillette razor, they're not just grooming -- they're preparing for success. If you're looking to brand a product across different groups, this is the best marketing focus to take. How Gillette Advertising can Brand a Product for All Men For this marketing case study we watched hours upon hours of how Gillette advertising brands a product, and we've come upon the secret. When they go about branding a product, they do so by showing sexy and powerful men engaging in the ritual of shaving. This invokes a powerful response -- it builds an association between the power and sex-appeal of the men in the ad with the ritual of shaving. To brand a product this way is to create ascendant product brands -- product brands that rise above their base function and fulfil something deeper. The greatest conclusion we reached in this marketing case study was that to brand a product upon a transcendent feeling or emotion was to create a truly powerful product brand. So to recap, in this marketing case study we found that: • Gillette advertising is a massive undertaking. They have varied product brands throughout their central function of grooming that includes razors, shaving cream, deodorant, body wash, and more. • To brand a product in such a varied product grouping, Gillette advertising sets its marketing focus not on the product features, but the driving emotions that power its product brands. • Gillette advertising takes the ritual of grooming and turns it into unbridled success' opening act.

Branding and Marketing in the Watch Industry is interesting when broken down and analyzed. Big brands such as Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Omega don't necessarily have to market their product the same as an independent brand or other big brands. Then there are big brands like Richard Mille, Hublot, and Audemars Piguet that have very different tactics for marketing their product. Having said that, let's take a look at how marketing differs from brand to brand. Jon Callahan is here to help guide us through branding in the watch industry. Which brand's tactics catch your eye? http://602communications.com Standout marketing is tough to pull off with any product, but commodity goods like soap, toothpaste and electric power have the hardest job of all. In this three-minute emotional marketing lesson video, emotional marketing expert Graeme Newell shows how the best marketers in the world make the dullest products sound dazzling. See more Emotional Marketing videos at http://602communications.com. Graeme Newell from 602 Communications digs into some of the best advertising campaigns from that most generic of sectors - the bottled water industry. Despite the fact that water is the ultimate commodity product, these Madison Avenue masters have taken positioning a brand to a whole new level. Gone are worries about tying the brand back into priority features. This is an advertising task that begins with the ultimate blank slate: a pure, featureless, and ultimately uninteresting product. Marketing generic products like bottled water forces marketers to firmly ground their advertising in the place where all marketing should begin - the customer's experience of herself. When clients are ready to advertise, they will come to an agency typically having fallen in love with their own product. They don't typically ask themselves, "what is customer focus?" They believe that their product's feature set is divinely inspired to move customers and that their product is the obvious choice. The best television ads will take that dazzling product and temporarily set it aside. When positioning a brand, they will bring the customer's own sense of identity to the top marketing chain, then decide how that product furthers her own personal goals. Many marketers asked themselves, "what job is the customer hiring this product to do?" This clearly puts the marketing on a solid base of customer experience and forces both the agency and the client to put aside their own love of the product they worked so hard to create. The truth is that most customers treat the products they use as everyday commodities. From soap, to detergent, to beer, to coffee, we just don't think that much about purchases that we make. Most of our product preferences are grounded in gut instinct, not an objective comparison of features. We just like the product, and we don't think that much about why. The best advertising campaigns never forget this and always market from a customer-centric vantage point. This is the transcendent mindset that great marketers of generic products understand. Because their wares are the quintessential definition of an uninteresting product, the pretense of an exemplary feature set is gone. In this presentation, "Positioning a Brand: Best Ways to Market Uninteresting Products," keynote speaker and emotional marketing expert Graeme Newell shows you how the best marketers plain and simply get over themselves and embed a dazzling persona on to a product that should have no differentiating factors at all. Check out some of the best television ads around in this presentation that answers the question "what is customer relationship marketing?" Transcription of Text From The Video: "Positioning a Brand: Best Ways to Market Uninteresting Products." One of the biggest problems with advertising? Everyone thinks they're one-of-a-kind, even though most products really aren't that much different. Now a few products really ARE revolution, like Dyson vacuums. That roller ball proves it's different! Or the greatest couch potato invention in history! Now there are some industries where new features are rolled out constantly, like the mobile phone business. The advertising must continually explain new calling plans and new features. Product feature marketing works great when the features are continually improving, but this is the exception, not the rule. The trick is to avoid one of marketing's biggest mistakes - crowing about a small product improvement that no one's gonna care about. So what do you do when you can't market the bells and whistles any more? Well look no further than that ultimately generic product - bottled water. They've created a brand out of absolutely nothing. Dasani is the rebellious, thrilling water for those who don't follow the rules, and are always looking for a walk on the wild side. Perrier is the risk taker's water. Danger is what they want from a bottle of water. Evian is the young water...This is water we're talking about here - totally generic - but these companies have built an entire persona, out of nothing. This is marketing built entirely on how the customer wants to see herself, not how she feels about water. So remember, take a hard, honest look at your product. Is it truly unique? If so, embrace that, and put your features out on display, but if not, then you should build your marketing from the customer's ego up, not from the product features down. I'm Graeme Newell, and that's Emotional Marketing. See more Emotional Marketing videos at http://602communications.com.

In a world where big-box retailers and online megastores are pushing the prices of ubiquitous products down to unprecedented lows, how can a small, independent store survive? Forget about the product and go straight for the customer. In this three-minute emotional marketing lesson video, emotional branding researcher Graeme Newell shows how the little guy can hold his own against industry heavy-hitters. It happens to the best of us: we get so in love with our products that we forget to focus on what is really important. In a world where huge companies like Amazon and Walmart have made differentiation less of a luxury and more of a necessity, forgetting the customer is tantamount to brand suicide. In this video, Graeme Newell talks about how the little guy can stand up to huge brand leaders by targeting their customers’ attitudes. How Can Emotional Marketing Save Small Businesses? Emotional marketing is how many small business owners are connecting with their customers on a deeper level than possible with traditional marketing. Emotional marketing targets the deepest, strongest feelings that we have and turns them to a brand. When marketing a brand with emotional marketing, one leaves behind the stifling mantle of the product and delves into something more. By using emotional marketing instead of product marketing, small brands can go toe-to-toe with much larger companies and come out on top. Why Product Marketing Doesn’t Work Companies like Walmart and Amazon have turned low prices into an art form. Their closed-doors negotiation teams are famous for their ruthless efficiency, and they have the inventory systems that are rivaled by none. The bad news is that chances are they sell something that does exactly what your products do, and they do it for half the price. There was a day and age when product marketing worked, but that day has passed. Now, brands must turn to emotional marketing and emotional branding when marketing a brand in order to stay competitive. Product marketing relies on the features of a product and how cheaply you can deliver those features. While these things are all well and good, bigger retailers can do it far better than any small brand could possibly hope to do. As such, smaller brands need to turn to something deeper than just the latest bells-and-whistles. They need to turn to attitude marketing. What is Attitude Marketing? Attitude marketing is an emotional marketing tool for marketing a brand using the attitudes and beliefs of the customers, and turning it into a powerful, moving brand. The key to attitude marketing isn’t showing off the newest and coolest gear – it’s finding out how the customer feels about herself and then molding a brand around that feeling. While Amazon can sell a bike for half the price any mom-and-pop shop can, they cannot sell the feeling of belonging to a club that comes with the regional charm. Emotional branding through attitude marketing is a powerful tool that can help brands push through the clutter. In this world of ubiquitous products, it has become increasingly difficult for any brand to differentiate themselves. The best way to do this is by marketing a brand through attitude marketing. How Marketing a Brand with Attitude Marketing Works Back about 50 years ago one could simply throw the newest features up on an advertisement and call it a day. Not so much anymore. Today, when marketing a brand you need to dig deeper into the psyche of the customers and find out what is really making them tick. Most of the time, emotional branding finds that these feelings have nothing to do with the products themselves. By finding what the customer feels about herself, you can find out what makes her tick, and what motivates her. A customer who feels that they are at home in your shop is a customer who will stay loyal in the face of cheaper products.

The 3-step formula to making over $1 million/year selling brand products WITHOUT paid ads. ►► REGISTER - $400K/Month Workshop: https://wholesaleted.com/go/freeworkshop ►► Free $10,000/Month ebook: http://wholesaleted.com/4-step Watch Amazon's video: https://youtu.be/dAXdeqcHBp4 In this video, we talk about a new strategy of selling branded products: Reverse Wholesale. This is an extremely lucrative business model, that involves reselling branded products for a profit on Amazon. E-commerce millionaires, Dan and Eric, have used this model to make over $16 million dollars alone on Amazon. The best part? They were able to do all of this: WITHOUT paid ads WITHOUT creating a product WITHOUT dealing with customer service WITHOUT a website or email list To do this, they use a simple 3-step system called “Reverse Wholesale”. Here’s how it works: STEP 1: LOCATE HIGH-PROFIT, HIGH POTENTIAL BRANDED PRODUCTS ON AMAZON This step involves looking for branded products on Amazon that have a HUGE buyer demand, but very bad listings. In essence, your aim is to “refurbish” a product that is ALREADY proven to sell well. By refurbish, we mean improving its images, product title, product description and also features and benefits. When a product that everyone is buying has a poor listing, you now have the opportunity to improve this listing - and make even MORE sales. STEP 2: CREATE A WHOLESALE ACCOUNT The next step is to ask to open a Wholesale Account with the manufacturer of the product you have identified. You do this to gain access to their Wholesale distributor so that you can buy the product at discounted rates and sell them for a profit. However, there is a slight catch: Manufacturers don’t just accept anybody. That’s why you use Dan’s secret method. Instead of trying to lie your way through to opening an account, you take a different approach. You NEGOTIATE. You say, “Hey, I’ll come in, edit your listing and MASSIVELY increase your sales. In exchange, we’ll make a contract, we’ll make a deal. My business, my company, gets the right to buy these products direct from your manufacturer, at wholesale, discounted rates. I will then send these items into Amazon for you, and I will “manage” your listing and grow your sales.” This is a deal that’s hard to turn down. At the end of the day, it is a win-win situation. For you: You get DIRECT access to the manufacturers instead of having to go through the distributor. This means that you can buy items from them in bulk at a MASSIVE discount, allowing you to make more profits on the items you sell! For them: More money! Considering this is a long-term deal, you’re going to make them A LOT more money since you’ll be regularly buying their items in bulk. (Who wouldn’t want that?!) STEP 3: OPTIMIZE THE LISTING, PURCHASE THE PRODUCTS AND MAKE MONEY! The final step involves editing their listing to make it even better. Adding better photos. Adding a great title. Adding a great description - and greatly increasing the conversions and sales. You then buy the product you want to sell at wholesale, discounted rates, then ship them into one of Amazon’s FBA warehouses. Amazon’s FBA warehouses are incredible. They store these items for you. When a customer purchases your item, Amazon will pick, pack and ship this item off to your customer - without you having to even lift a finger. This means you don’t have to do ANY of the heavy lifting. At this point it’s basically a passive source of income. All you have to do is order new products when inventory gets low. It’s upfront work for long-term rewards!

82 Hilarious Funny & Fake Products From China To listen to some nice music and relax, you can visit our friendly channel "TRG": https://goo.gl/Hry5Ut Wikipedia.org: To counterfeit means to imitate something. Counterfeit products are fake replicas of the real product. Counterfeit products are often produced with the intent to take advantage of the superior value of the imitated product. The word counterfeit frequently describes both the forgeries of currency and documents, as well as the imitations of clothing, handbags, shoes, pharmaceuticals, aviation and automobile parts, watches, electronics (both parts and finished products), software, works of art, toys, movies. Counterfeit products tend to have fake company logos and brands. In the case of goods, it results in patent infringement or trademark infringement. Counterfeit consumer products have a reputation for being lower quality (sometimes not working at all) and may even include toxic elements. This has resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people, due to automobile and aviation accidents, poisoning, or ceasing to take essential compounds (e.g. in the case a person takes non-working medicine). The counterfeiting of money is usually attacked aggressively by governments worldwide. The counterfeiting of goods is condoned by some governments. Counterfeit paper money is the most popular product counterfeited. Theverybesttop10.com: Each and every year firms spend millions on brand identity only to spend twice as much in courtrooms up and down the land fighting brand theft, and imitation! Sad news indeed for the company’s that have to pay it, but for us consumers it does lead to some rather funny discovery’s when we are out shopping. So I have decided to bring you just ten of what I think is the very best examples of brand identity theft…. “Only Future Coke will do when you’re thirstiest! …not now, but in the future!” TIP: They say a change is as good as a rest, but when it comes to product and indeed company re-branding little is very much more, little changes over the course of a few years will have a much lesser impact than a sudden product change. Sadly the truth is that people don’t like changes, but little changes might well go un-noticed. “Let’s Build! ..using bricks, plastic ones, but not the official kind.” TIP: When it comes to brand identity always try and do something every now and again that is a surprise! Maybe a crazy, un-related giveaway or a unique competition idea. Next week we take a look at the new Sqny Peestation! TIP: Have you ever seen those design concepts that phone company’s, car manufactures seem to accidentally let slip? Well that is no accident at all, in fact it is a great way of judging how people might react to the real and indeed finished brand design. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "Mpow Bluetooth Headphone Really Worth to Buy? Can I Private Label Ali Express Products? Probably the most common question I get asked is whether or not you can private label Ali Express Products. Typically you cannot private label Ali Express products. The reason is that Ali Express is a business to consumer (B2C) site, basically retail, where as Alibaba is a business to business (B2B) site or basically wholesale. When you buy from Ali Express your buying from resellers and the products are already made. When you buy from Alibaba your buying from the manufacture and the products are not even made until you either put down a down payment or pay for the order. This is why your able to customize the product and/or add your brand or label to it. If you want to watch my video where I go into great depth about Ali Express vs Alibaba I'll link to it below... https://youtu.be/iLUtcN2iAnw One thing to be aware of is where as you can order as little as one unit off Ali Express, Alibaba typically requires larger order sizes or MOQ's as they refer to it. Also, when you private label it typically also requires a larger MOQ. Something I have suggested in previous videos is before you commit to buying 1,000 customized items from Alibaba, maybe you place a smaller order of 20 units or 50 unites from Ali Express. You list them on eBay, Amazon, Shopify, etc, you see how they sell, and if they sell well you can more confidently place the larger private labeled order on Alibaba. Keep in mind that nobody is going to private label for a dropshipper. Private labeling requires extra work on there part. They aren't going to customize 1 unit at a time for you as your customers order them. I do have a bit of a hack or a shortcut to private labeling for those of you who cannot meet the MOQ of Alibaba sellers. You can buy generic products via Ali Express, and then go to a site like Paklane, where you can create custom packaging with your brand name and logo on them. While this isn't "true" private labeling, it is a way to start building a brand and some brand awareness until your able to place a larger private label order from Alibaba. Hopefully this video clears up the whole private labeling and whether its possible to do on Ali Express question. Feel free to drop a comment below with your questions and/or thoughts.
