A Japanese Method to Develop Creativity in Kids

09:17
Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz For copyright matters please contact us at: [email protected] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Japanese people are known for their intelligence, politeness, and wellness. Why is this nation so unique and different from the rest of the world? It seems we’ve found the answer – they have an incredibly cool education system and unique teaching methods! Watch till the end – there is a small but brilliant bonus for you. Let’s start with a unique Japanese method in the schools for developing creativity in kids. We believe that the whole world needs to adopt! It’s called “Nameless paints.” Japanese designers named Yusuke Imai and Ayami Moteki created an unusual set to teach kids colors and painting. This fantastic set won the 2012 Kokuyo Design Award. Let’s see how it works. “Nameless paints” includes ten tubes that don’t have color names such as “yellow,” “blue,” or “green.” Instead, there are only spots of a particular color or colors on each tube. As you can see, the spots are also different sizes. The designers’ aim is to change the way kids think and learn. They want children to understand what shade they will get if they mix certain colors. For instance, a child looks at the tube with two spots: pink and blue. He doesn’t know what color hides inside. He squeezes the tube and gets… purple color! So, as a result, the kid learns that the same amounts of pink and blue paints create purple. Here’s another example – a tube with a big blue spot and small pink one. It means if you mix a small amount of the pink color and a large amount of the blue color, you’ll get dark-blue color. Interesting, right? As you can see, each tube hides a particular color inside. Pink, yellow, blue, purple, red, dark green, dark blue, orange, light-green, and black. However, to get one of these shades, the child should think about which colors create it. As a result, they learn how to create new colors and how to mix them. It’s an easy and fun way to understand the color theory. Recent studies have shown that free thinking is an attribute that a person can acquire over time, and the schools play the most important part in developing creativity. Now, here’s the bonus – 10 brilliant features of the Japanese education system the whole world needs to adopt. The success of the Japanese culture is very simple: they put a lot of effort and time in the education system trying to make it not only useful but also fun. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brightside/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brightgram/ 5-Minute Crafts Youtube: https://www.goo.gl/8JVmuC  ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/

Do You Want Writing Success? 5 Expert Writing Tips

04:38
http://www.yourresearchdiva.com/writing-tips Give some Video Love: Please "Like this Video", leave a comments, and share it with your friends...thanks! Are you still struggling to get to the level of writing that you want? Are you tired or spinning your wheels? Are your motivated and ready to use the same 5 writing tips that experts in the field have used to be successful? Then this article is for you. If you stick with these 5 highly effective habits for the next year, you are guaranteed to be closer to your writing goals than you are right now. Want to right a great book? Then be sure to pay attention to Writing Tip Habit #1 Want to write better? Then be sure to pay attention to Writing Tip Habit #2 Want to use the magic of your own writing assistant? Then use Writing Tip Habit #3 Want to jump in the publishers ring and get your work noticed? Then Habits #4 and #5 will push you in that direction. So, let's get started: How to Write a Book using the Writing Tip: Habit #1 Write every single day. That's 7 days a week. If your goal is to write a book, then you can achieve that by putting your words, your thoughts, down on paper each day. Before you know it, you will have quit a collection of material that you can use to assemble your first book. If you are writing articles for an article marketing campaign, then you will have a great collection of material to use and repurpose to promote your business. How to Write Better using this Writing Tip: Habit #2 Great writers are also voracious readers. Take at least 1 hour each day to read something, but read with a purpose. It's a good idea to have a notebook close at hand so that you can jot down notes, phrases, words, and sentence structures from the material that you are reading which you like. This helps you find your own voice, your own rhythm and your own style as you see other writing that you like. Empower your Subconscious Assistant with this Writing Tip: Habit #3 Establish a writing routine. By writing at the same time and in the same place each day, it sends a signal to your subconscious mind that it's time to work and write amazing content when you go to that place. This sounds unbelievable, I know. But the mind is very powerful and establishing great writing habits like this allows you to focus better. Take a Chance-Stop Playing-with this Writing Tip: Habit #4 You are lucky to be writing in this current time. In the past, the only real option for a writer was to get published in print form through a magazine, newspaper or book. Today, the internet allows you to publish your material online with a couple clicks of a mouse. You can publish on your own blog, submit articles to article directories, self-publish in print or electronically, as well as approach the traditional publishing methods that are still in print. Your options are almost endless. At first, not a soul may find or read your material; however, as you go along you will get better not only at writing stuff that people want to read, but driving traffic to your content. This knowledge comes through content marketing and article marketing strategies. Don't Fall Prey to the Writer's Form of ADD with this Writing Tip: Habit #5 Finish every piece of writing you start. This is tougher than it sounds. Writers usually have a brain full of ideas that they want to explore so often have a lot of starts and fewer finishes. Remedy this by finishing everything and then send it out there. Let the universe know that you have arrived! But what about all those other great ideas? Go ahead and get them down. Jot down notes or record your thoughts for those additional projects. Put them on your own version of an editorial calendar so that you have a set date to start that project. Then, when the date arrives start writing, finish the piece and then publish it. With these 5 writing tips, you will develop the kind of habits that successful business people use. Don't fool yourself, writing is a business. And, if you want your business to be able to sustain you so that enjoy this great gift more often, then you must establish habits that move you closer to success. Every day is a chance to write better than you did the day before. It's a process, it's a journey, and it's a pretty fantastic one. Getting Crafty | Writing for Children 051

12:31
GET CRAFTY! Crafts are one of those things that many writers don’t really consider when coming up with a publishable project. But the magazines that use crafts, need a steady stream. The reason crafts are a staple of many children's magazines is because they help to make content interactive. They don’t just offer a story or article, but let the child move beyond the magazine to create something new. Interactivity is a goal of many magazines, work that engages the reader and also leads to the reader doing something. A craft can fit this bill. Also, crafts and other hands-on creative activities are particularly popular with the “maker movement” that has taken over popular culture. Craft how-to articles are not difficult to write, either, and you can be paid for them. In fact, writing a craft article has a lot in common with writing a recipe. You usually have a list of ingredients (materials and tools needed) and a list of directions. Listen to the full episode for three keys to an effective craft for children’s magazines. Want to Write For Top Business Publications?

03:47
Get the full details at https://influencerinc.co/courses/power-publishing-contributor/ Do you want to become a contributor to publications like Forbes, Inc., and Entrepreneur? Hi, I’m Josh Steimle, and just a few short years ago, I was just your basic beleaguered, overwhelmed entrepreneur with a big vision and seemingly no way to achieve it. It was hard to get any press at all, let alone the agonizing, all-uphill battle I faced just getting my first article published in Fast Company so I could get a measly ‘as featured on’ logo on my website. How would I ever get any traction? I didn’t even know what I didn’t know! Doesn’t it drive you crazy? I knew the insights and lessons I’d learned in the school of hard knocks would benefit the business and personal lives of real people–yet for 11 humiliating years my ‘big ideas’ had only one outlet: a personal blog with a mere pittance of a following. Then there’s the business component: the real services, real deliverables I had to offer, that should have been helping more people put their problems to bed and move on with happier, more productive lives. I just didn’t know how to get my message ‘out there’ consistently–that is, at least, until I attracted the attention of an editor at Forbes. And because my work happened to be right where he wanted his publication to go next, I found myself, quite by accident, in a coveted spot as a Forbes contributor. Within a few months, I’d learned how to write articles that drove business without even promoting myself (by sharing solutions I’d discovered to the problems I was facing on the cutting edge of my own work), and my whole world changed almost overnight: The articles I wrote for Forbes led to my writing for more than 20 other high-profile publications like Fortune, Time, Mashable, TechCrunch, and Entrepreneur–and those articles have brought my business more than $5,000,000 (and counting), just over the last 4 years; - A cash advance on a book deal with a big publishing house, giving me new levels of instant credibility and opening up opportunities I’d never even imagined; and… - High-paying speaking gigs in exotic locations around the world, sharing my ideas in front of audiences of thousands, which allowed me to share my message on the scale it deserved and sustainably fuel even more ambitious projects (in my case, breaking down communication and marketing barriers between the West and China). When I started getting calls from executives, entrepreneurs, and venture capitalists asking me to help them reproduce my successes, I’ll confess I jumped at the opportunity. But my own background also opened my eyes to a broader truth: What what the world needs is for more ‘real’ people with world-changing ideas to have access to these tools–not just those with some ‘elite’ status. Thus I set out to make these behind-the-curtain secrets available to the real world-changers–guys and gals just like me and you. Want to know more? Check out the masterclass details at https://influencerinc.co/courses/power-publishing-contributor/. But hurry, because there are only 20 spots and they're going fast!

Why Socrates Hated Democracy

04:22
We’re used to thinking hugely well of democracy. But interestingly, one of the wisest people who ever lived, Socrates, had deep suspicions of it.
