Quebec Winter Carnival Night Parade | Carnaval de Québec

26 ratings | 4752 views
Braving the elements we bundled up in our warmest gear to witness the spectacular Québec Winter Carnival Night Parade. With thousands of others in attendance we gathered in the snowy streets of Quebec City with a sense of heightened expectations, a bowl of warm chicken soup and caribou drink to keep us warm. When the parade finally started the crowd erupted into a cacophony of cheers, horns and hollering. Impressive floats, live bands and talented performers delighted us all. Last but certainly not least was Bonhomme, the official mascot of The Quebec City Winter Carnival, cheering everywhere on, doing leg kicks and giving out hugs to close things off. For those looking to attend there are now two Night Parades occurring during the 2nd and 3rd weekends of Carnival. Bundle up, come prepared with warm food and beverages and be prepared to toot your horn ;) Quebec Winter Carnival Night Parade | Carnaval de Québec Travel Video Transcript: Alright, the big moment we've been waiting for - the Carnival parade. Did you need to know much French when visiting Quebec City?
@JHulbert17 Our French unfortunately is very limited. Most people in the tourist industry can speak English.
