A good way to open up a conversation with some stranger online is this: "I never send money to anyone for any reason, even for life saving operations and unless we can have a successful webcam conversation, I want nothing to do with you whatsoever. All the nice talking bollocks doesn't wash on me!" This gets rid of the scamming scum suckers.

MOST SCAMMERS, STUCK IN NIGRERIA, LET HIM STAY STUCK, OR STUCK OVER SEAS, LET HIM STAY STUCK, STUCK OUTSIDE HIS BANK ACCOUNT, LET HIM STAY STUCK, OR STUCK WITH EMERGENCY, LET HIM STAY STUCK, BETTER HIM STUCK THAN YOU STUCK BROKE.....

Saved a friend's ass from getting scammed, it took me a while to prove and explain it to him that it was a scam. If money ever gets mentioned, it's time to back away.

Sending money to someone you have never even spoke on the phone with, let alone meeting in person. LOL!!!! How in the world do you speak to someone for months, but never spoke to him on the phone?!

I have had people asking me for money via facebook & twitter. I never sent it. I was blown out by them really quickly.

I would never send a stranger even ten dollars let alone thousands upon thousands of dollars.

OMG 2017 still sending money to strangers
You don't have to tell me obvious. I would never, ever send any money to person I just met online.

If you're sending money you are desperate and can't get a man in your area

Haha...my mother has a knack for finding scammers, but they're all local scumbags. The current one has convinced her he has ms. Oh, and he's close to my age.

4Ever -- not sure what your point is. Did Dennis ever even give a hint that men aren't victims also?
4ever (1 year ago)
men get fooled by this, too. and usually it's a man on the other end, pretending to be a woman.
