Great video! I really enjoyed it! I came across it while doing some research for my upcoming trip to London in 2020. It will be my first trip to Europe and I am so excited! The only thing I'm not looking forward to is the food. It just doesn't appeal to me at all! I do however think I am going to fall in love with this city.

Are you guys Yoopers? Your accent sounds kind of northern...like Michigan or Minnesota.
Keyser Soze (4 months ago)
Nomadic Samuel - Travel Channel , I made the mistake by calling Tower of London a castle. 4 guys in 5 minutes told me it's not a castle it's a Palace. I said I'll sleep better knowing that.
Kingdomgirl 3333 (4 months ago)
Yup! I commented before finishing the video.....I can not seem to help myself lol

I think that was mentioned in the video.
Good guess! We're from Canada.

In 2005 I finished my tour in Iraq and on the flight from Kuwait to the States we had to land in London for a 4 day delay to wait for another plane to fly us back to usa. The Great Britain military took great care of us and gave us a tour and some great party clubs. Thers an appt building about 1 mile south of the EYE, IT'S CALLED Parliament View Appts. It's the same Appts that Johnithyn Ryhs Meyers and Emily Mortimer lived in the movie Match Point. Check out the Food Places around that area, it's great.

+Tyler Sudden II It really doesn't make any difference because we were never a gun carrying society before the gun control laws. I never knew of anyone who owned a gun. It was just a few rural people who owned them.

I am going in very early April, at least that is the plan. Thanks for such wonderful videos!
Thank you very much! Are you thinking of going to London soon? Would love to visit Atlanta someday :)
Gerry Zapiain (1 year ago)
Hi Samuel and Audrey! Really love the videos! My wife and I are picking up some good ideas for our own extended travels once we shake off the 9-to-5 routine soon! My question is, where did you stay in London? I've changed planes there countless times on business, but never spent any time there. Also London is a great gateway for those of us living on the East Coast of the United States, and with so many discount carriers serving the city, it's a natural jumpstation to the test of Europe. Your recommendations for 1) a visit of a week or more and also 2) for a hostel for extended layovers would be very much appreciated. Cheers!

I was about to give up on London until I saw your video. You made London seem exciting. Thanks!!!
Thank you very much! There really is a lot to do in the city. I would recommend visiting many of the parks.

I was a tour guide in London for a week in September for a family, showed the itinerary to their hotel concierge who said I could get a job easily, we did the city from 09-21 hours every day. My 20th time in London plus the years I lived there.
Marco Franchetti (1 year ago)
did you dothis trip on april? weather seem quite cold. what about the best time to visit London?
Mary Ann Borg (10 months ago)
It can get extremely hot in London too. Twice in July, I experienced temperatures over 30 C (86 F) for almost the full week I was there each time. It was a real scorcher.
It is never particularly warm in London but summer, late spring and early autumn would be your best bet.

Hi, very good city guide of London, you managed to pack a lot in to one video! I create walking tour videos on YouTube (no commentary, just the sights and sounds), mainly featuring London, so it’s great to see how others approach similar content from a creative point-of-view :)
Thank you!

Thank you! Hope you can visit. London is one of our favorite cities in the world.
Henry Tudor (1 year ago)
the most beautiful and dynamic city in europe. my visit to paris made me appreciate london more. its not as if paris is bad, but its brown. like brown buildings everywhere. I prefer ancient to modern buildings, but I dont like brown braque/classical buildings. i prefer the light ash limestone used in london. besides, the parisian boulevards are all the same. so once u get over the first arridorsment, u dont get anything new in the next. and the river sien just has brown buildings surrounding it. and paris is dirty. I mean even the grasses are mixed with the dirty brown soil and littered with rubbish, seems they dont clean it. nd the subway is dirty. I mean paris just has old similar buildings. then the eiffel tower (i think its cooler at night). overall, I will pick london 100 times over.

Great video, I have been to London but not since 2005. Going back on my own, so this was wonderful to see. I loved your video. It was informative, fun, interesting and just a great way to view the city and figure out what I want to see and do. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to see more of your videos. Hope you make some for the rest of England and of Holland and Belgium and Eastern Europe! But this one I will watch more than once before going to London.
Thank you very much!

School boy error made by most visiting Americans. Arsenal are probably the least supported team in London. You should have gone a couple of miles further on to Tottenham the true gods of London #COYS
738polarbear (11 months ago)
The true Yids you mean .
WolfGratz (1 year ago)
Typical Premiership supporter. We have untold clubs with less support than Arsenal. That's what makes us a serious football city unlike Mickey Mouse so-called cities like Liverpool - I mean the nearest thing they can come up with by way of a truly unsuccessful club are near neighbours Tranmere. Places such as Birmingham and Edinburgh try hard, bless them but the centre for traditional British values of gallant and not so gallant footballing failure is obviously London
LOL, I have a good friend who supports Tottenham.

Loved the video! Would have liked if you had made a quick mention of the prices of the tickets and meals too - just to get an idea of the costs.
Thank you! That is a great idea and we'll start including that in future videos.

What a pity you missed out on the most amazing museum in London - The Science Museum, just round the corner from the V & A. Its full pf interactive exhibits and experiments and the history of science and engineering. I love it; or at least I did when I was still living in UK.
Oh! Our mistake. Thanks for pointing that out. 50 is not nearly a high enough number when covering a city such as London.

And you have not even covered Greenwich, Docklands, Southwark, the City, the East End, Islington, Hampstead, Highgate and St Johns Wood,, Kew and Richmond...
Yes! Maybe even 1000 things to do in London would not cover it all :)
