Frank's answer about Debit/Credit Cards should be shown in schools. I wish I knew then what I know now.
corturia (1 day ago)
intresting talk but the credit card speech is total corporate bull! haveing a credit card is handy and useful but no way should it be a daily driver UNLESS your clearing the balance! plus the fees for lifting cash and the higher intrest is costing you money the credit card companies would love nothing more than you to use the card all the time becuase guess what, when its hacked they dont pay it either, its the vender that takes the hit!! if your debit card gets slammed your gonna shy away from buying on it,not so with a credit card your gonna go right back to spending if your not takeing the hit! you think its a coincidence he promotes credit card spending, the most profitable part of the card services when he has done work for visa in the past! also as hes a multi millionaire now he aint exactly a normal everday joe no more

Well it was all very interesting until about half way "a real man, loves his wife". Did you hear that gentlemen? If you don't have a wife, you are not a real man. What a load of bullshit What if you're a murderer or worse but you have and love your wife? Oh, this means you are still real man? Give me a break! And then he goes on about "god". Seriously? It's not the 60's anymore. And all the morons in the comments are saying "what a great talk it was". I guess they are as cripplingly ignorant as he is.

The credit card thing sounds great for someone who has self discipline. However, so many people don't have that, and credit card debt ruin a lot of lives. Still a great point he makes.

Unbelievable the majority of youngsters who make a mistake or even many mistakes who grownup with out a mom or dad and end up a crook get caught and it ruins their lives. But this guy gets a Hollywood movie and a job with the feds and a speaking career all over America. Many of the youngsters didnt have a family at all.you had a family and every unusual awkward breaks that most will never get.now they glorify this corrupt criminal thief. Wow a con man a theif a liar and a flat out dishonorable crooked lowlife gets a red cArpet life and pass while PEople treat him like royalty. America is crazy. We make a rich hero star out of a common criminal.our morality is in the garbage. Then to add insult to injuries he becomes a snitch working a career that goes out of his way to hurt harm catch bust young men and woman that were no different than you except they get in a world of trouble and never get out or catch a break all because you spend all of your time getting them. Busted. Unreal. No education. A felon wrap sheet. And walks away like a fat cat.its not rite. You are no saint. Look at your ridiculous break and look at the. Majority of the youth that have done less than you and their lives are ruined for ever and now you bust the same youngsters who were just like you.you would think maybe you would go work with young kids suffering. No honor in being a rat.

This is the most entertaining plus educational speech to meet the real guy behind Catch Me if You Can...Well, he got fine education than the average in his youth time even till his parent's marriage break up. That's why he got the better gift of speaking, down earth heart and smarter than Trump. I learn a lot thru the video. Just wondering when I have chance to talk this legend. STF

Hmmm, Nov 2017, all passwords will be gone in 24 months.........Truesona, well 18 months later and there are no major companies building up to use this technology. Also if you eliminate those $6 million a month that banks pay would mean that people that work there would be %6 million a month poorer.

You know, a lot of us have stories about things we did in our late teens and early 20's. I know I do. I'm sure not going to make any Youtube videos about them. As with Frank's story, they are not things to be proud of or publicly share. They are situations that, in my memories, I treasure, smile at, and with a blush in a few cases, admire.

Would you trust Frank Abagnale to run your company...today? What adolescent boys do has nothing to do with the men they are capable of becoming. Think about Frank Abagnale the next time you see some ambulance chasing Libtard lawyer waving a high school yearbook around. MAGA, President Trump.

The instinct for self preservation, even when sublimated into preserving ones freedom, is widely considered the most innate expression of intelligence. Simply put, fast thinkers do well in high pressure social situations. He may not be napping out the universe in his head like einstein but it may simply be that Frank abagnales genius exists within the realm of communication. Cicero was lauded specifically for how he ordered his words, an aspect of Latin that was structurally flexible, and that was recognized in it's time as a kind of genius. The universally persuasive man is even occasionally represented as supernatural in literature, for instance the hypnotic powers ascribed to many kinds of vampires. What I'm saying is genius orators must be a real thing if the idea of such a thing can have such an impact on historical and fictional literature across multiple time periods and cultures. Accept your genius out loud Frank, everybody already sees you using it lol it may still be a cool trick but it's also a classic

He maybe blind to a whole section of security issues that will be caused by the solutions he advocates, though he did mention that he doesn't need his refrigerator talking to the toaster so maybe deep down he knows. The fact is, vehicles and many other devices have zero need for any features that could allow critical systems to be remotely controlled, the fact that such an issue exists is testament to the weakness of the public education system and the damn fool consumers it produces. Non-password authentication has been around for quite a long time, it is fine within a closed realm of voluntary association [analogous to locally unique but not globally unique], but universal ID on a public scale comes with massive socio-political tiger traps. What will happen to this locked down system of absolute ID when the voters elevate the next despot into a position of power? Its called a turn key dictatorship, dominos setup ready to tip. Sometimes you must trade short term convenience and efficiency for true long term security. Some guy listening to my fridge is of little concern, every wireless phone of the 80s and 90s could be eaves dropped simply by walking down the street with another wireless phone on the same freq band; a huge database of tracking meta-data in the hands of people wielding massive political power however is a concern. I would rather risk the inconvenience of an occasional check being forged or even having some cash stolen, than risk living in a soviet style country; money comes and goes, liberty is difficult to get and difficult to keep. If Social Security numbers were true to their original purpose they would not be a security concern, originally it was illegal to use a SS number as an ID, any and all uses outside of tracking your SS benefits was forbidden, it even said it on the cards IIRC. This was the only way voters would accept the SS program in the first place, of course as always happens some years go by and quiet changes are made.

Love this man and his story. Never understood the whole putting god above the family as he mentions, but what a great person. Gotta think though, had he been black would he have gotten that amazing second chance? I'd very much like to think so, but to be honest the idea that America gives you a second chance isn't all that genuine. Most, if not all, come out of prison with their name tarnished by a giant exclamation of their time served and criminal record. To which after it is almost impossible to get any respectable job. I respect Frank, a whole lot, but as he says and agrees, he was a criminal. No doubt a clever one, but a criminal nonetheless. I am happy he was given a 2nd chance as the FBI recognized his talents, but if not for that action, I wouldn't be here typing this comment, and you wouldn't be watching this clip. If not for what the FBI did he would have been in prison for 8 more years only to attempt to begin his life as a criminal in his early 30's. So I think it's wrong to say america actually gives a 2nd chance, i'd agree they give you some sort of chance, but not a very easy one to capitalist on. Not a 2nd chance with the true meaning of starting over. At the end of the day Frank got lucky. He was lucky because he was clever and had a great skill, but lucky nonetheless. It's an interesting story but one much too far from the norm to be used as a representation of how successful the american prison system is at getting people functioning in society once again.

+Joey a That's what I meant too. It is a brilliant speech undeniably.
Joey a (1 month ago)
So what? It's still a good speech, did you think it was improvised? On matters of your personal life, why would you change it from speech to speech? Is it not still the same exact story. He could have said the exact same speech 1000 times. That doesn't change the fact that its a great speech. An overused one perhaps, but still a good one.
